Contribution Limits
Participants younger than 50 years of age can contribute up to $16,500 to retirement savings plans in 2010 (unchanged from 2009), while those 50 years of age or older can make additional catch-up contributions of up to $5,500 (also unchanged from 2009) for total contributions of $22,000 in 2010.
